Born Emily Price in 1872 in Baltimore, Emily Post became a leading authority on etiquette in the United States thanks to her influential books on good manners. She was the daughter of Bruce Price, a renowned architect who designed several castle-style hotels for the Canadian Pacific Railway. She is especially associated with the Château Frontenac.
